Credit Building Loans

Justine Petersen wholly-owns a U.S. Department of Treasury certified Community Development Financial Institution, Great Rivers Community Capital.  Great Rivers originates a Credit Builder Loan to complement Justine Petersen’s credit counseling and financial education.  The Credit Builder Loan is for individuals with “thin” credit files (lack of active lines of credit) and assists to establish a good line of credit on the individual’s credit report. 

 

Timely payments are reported to two major credit bureaus, Trans Union and Experian.  By reporting to the bureaus, we assist borrowers to improve their credit scores and therefore, to qualify for credit at mainstream financial institutions.
