Current Evaluation

credit score impact

In 2002 - 2003, Justine Petersen worked with researchers from St. Louis University to study the impact of its credit building strategies on the credit scores of those counseled.  Participants were accepted for one year into the study and the intake credit score was compared to a credit score pulled exactly one year later.

Based on the outcomes of that study, new strategies, such as the credit builder loan, were developed and implemented.  Justine Petersen is currently accepting study participants in a five year study to evaluate the long-term effect of Justine Petersen's credit building strategies on client credit score.

Micro-test

Justine Petersen is a regular participant in the Aspen Institute's FIELD Micro-Test Performance and Outcomes studies.  Micro-Test Performance assists managers to understand ability to reach target population, cost of services per borrower, sustainability ratio, and other operational information.  Micr-Test Outcomes assists managers to understand the long-term impact of micro-enterprise services.
